Remco is proud to be a leader in the field of hygienic design. To further our involvement and commitment to the industries we work with, we remain members in good standing in the following organizations. Membership with these organizations allows us to be on the cutting edge of food safety and helps us connect with the challenges individual processing plants face.
The Association of Food & Drug Officials helps regulators protect the public by creating a space for them to communicate quickly and build strategies surrounding recalls and day-to-day operations. AFDO promotes unity among government regulators, food industry professionals and academics to create a safer food supply. They host workshops and conferences and put out publications like technical papers and reports that are all designed to promote food safety.
The Conference for Food Protection aims to bring together government officials with the organizations that are tasked with carrying out and enforcing food safety standards. The biennial conferences have 23 voting members on their executive board that represents local, state and federal food regulatory agents, as well as food industry representatives, academics and consumers. At the conferences, attendees discuss regulatory impacts, the science of food manufacturing, and how all interested parties can improve food safety.
The Food Processing Suppliers Association provides networker, marketing, and educational opportunities to its members. They fund scholarships to those wanting to learn more about the food processing supplies industry and are committed to educating the entire industry. They primarily work with food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and other suppliers.
The Indiana Environmental Health Association works towards creating greater awareness surrounding the issues that affect environmental health personnel. Their members represent local, state and federal government employees, as well as those who work in schools, medical facilities, trade organizations, solid waste districts and more. They’re committed to being involved with the issues that affect the state’s sanitation standards. As sustaining members, Remco Products helps support that mission.

The International Dairy Foods Association is committed to serving the dairy community. The Milk Industry Foundation (MIF), National Cheese Institute (NCI), and International Ice Cream Association (ICA) comprise the three IDFA groups. Members in these groups represent about 85% of the milk, cultured products, cheese, ice cream, and frozen desserts produced annually in the United States. As Gold Business Partners, we’re part of the 345 companies that provide equipment and supplies to the dairy industry.
The International Sanitary Supply Association boasts more than 7,000 members to its distributor, manufacturer, contractors and service provider network. The National Environmental Health Association has over 5,000 members dedicated to its purpose of providing “a healthful environment for all”. Online training programs for professional development lead to the creation of a national professional society for environmental health practitioners, or, Registered Sanitarians, as they’re now called. Remco engages with NEHA to promote hygienic design and educate ourselves and others about the effects of hygienic design.
